Trishelle Cannatella became a reality-TV name more than two decades before she ever set foot in the Season 2 castle of The Traitors, and she’s spent the years since building a resume well outside the genre that made her famous.
Her original claim to fame came from one of the defining seasons of early-2000s reality television.
The Real World: Las Vegas
Cannatella first became a breakout name on The Real World: Las Vegas in 2002, where her party-girl persona made her one of the defining figures of that era of the franchise. She went on to a long run across The Challenge and Road Rules, building the kind of deep reality-TV pedigree that made her a natural pick for a Traitors cast built around proven names.
Poker and Professional Wrestling
Away from reality TV, Cannatella has built out a career as a professional poker player and had a run as a professional wrestler under the ring name “The Red Hot Redneck,” two ventures that gave her a public identity well beyond her original Real World fame.
Winning The Traitors
Cannatella entered Season 2 of The Traitors alongside fellow Challenge veteran CT Tamburello, and their existing bond became the foundation of both of their runs. She played a vocal, aggressive Faithful game, openly pushing to root out suspected Traitors, a strategy that helped build the case against Phaedra Parks. Her alliance with CT carried both of them to the final round, where the two, alongside MJ Javid, unanimously voted out the last Traitor, Kate Chastain. The finale’s defining moment came in the deadlocked three-way vote that followed, resolved when Cannatella switched her vote from CT to MJ, sending MJ home and making her and CT the season’s winners together.
Marriage and Life Now
Cannatella has been married to pilot John Hensz since March 2017, and has directly and publicly denied persistent rumors of a romantic relationship with CT, describing the two as longtime friends rather than anything more. Two decades after Las Vegas made her famous, she’s built a life across poker tables, wrestling rings, and now a Traitors trophy that none of her Real World castmates saw coming.
