Episode 9, “Playing Chess”, airs Thursday, November 5, 2026, at 8 PM ET on NBC, streaming the next day on Peacock. This page will update with the full recap after the episode airs.

Official synopsis (Rotten Tomatoes / OnTV Tonight listings): “Paranoia takes hold as the players face a deadly poisoned chalice; fears are put to the test in a spooky mission and names fly around the castle as the Faithful agonize over whose behavior is truly treacherous.”

What to watch: 11 players remain after Episode 8; the Traitors left are Joe Vanella and Katie Fites; Joe named his fellow Traitor Tomica Adams at the Episode 8 Round Table and is now the exposed Traitor; Victor Vollbrechthausen, pardoned by Shane Beatty, led the first successful Traitor banishment of the season; Katie voted against Tomica twice without drawing suspicion. Banishing a Traitor added $15,000 to the prize pot in Episode 8.

The Traitors: New Blood airs Thursdays at 8 PM ET on NBC, with episodes streaming the next day on Peacock. For the story so far, see the Episode 8 recap and the episodes and results hub.
